For the International Research Symposium (IRS) 2024, hosted by the University of Vocational Technology, I custom-developed a comprehensive website to serve as the event’s digital foundation. This project was about building a functional and elegant platform that could handle the specific demands of a major academic conference.
The website was designed to simplify the entire symposium process. A key focus was on user experience, with a clear information architecture that makes it easy for participants to find everything from venue details and accommodation information to presentation guidelines. The visual design is modern and academic, using a professional color palette and clean layouts to highlight research topics and key announcements. This custom solution provided the organizing committee with a powerful tool to manage the event, from the initial call for papers to the final archiving of symposium proceedings.
